The Management Innovation Index is designed to assist organisations in identifying and understanding where their management is on this innovation continuum.

During the 18 months this product was in development, the Creative Leadership Forum

• Prototyped, refined and tested the Management Innovation Index survey globally
• Developed an in-depth reporting mechanism – The Management Innovation Index White Paper,
• Designed and ran workshop presentations enabling organisations to set agendas, directions, strategies, tactics and priorities in management innovation, resulting in the launch  of several new organisational initiatives

In the process, we have had some great successes, some rejections and have learnt a lot about the difficulties of applying innovation in organisations!!

We completed 4 MIX case studies (including an Australian multi-national, a Federal Government Department and several medium sized SME’s) and were engaged to:

• Design and deliver a senior executive workshop, Architects of The Future, based around design thinking in business for Senior Architects and Project Managers in the Australian Defence Industry
• Design and deliver a new Graduate Leadership Programme with Gen Y’s that will take 18 months to complete based on applying soft skills learning to a real business challenge
• Design and deliver a series of creative workshops and interventions for the Australian Broadcasting Commission Innovation Department.

Take a look at the exciting new ABC digital media product Bluebird AR. We didn’t provide the creative content – simply the tools, the instructions and processes to create a safe container for the smart people within the ABC Innovation Department to work in, to get to this result.
